Flexible Pricing

Flexible Pricing – because large projects shouldn’t cripple your business.

When addressing your development budget, our standard approach is to provide a quote based on a detailed specification, which takes into account the hours involved and relevant hourly rates; as well as any other costs which may be incurred, such as licensing third-party software.

However, we understand that the financial circumstances of every business or enterprise is different, and we try to remain responsive to these circumstances. We offer a range of budgeting options, including some which allow clients to pay full figures only if we achieve measurable financial results. Whichever option best suits your financial situation, you can be assured of receiving only our highest level of service.

Pricing Options

Reduced initial fees

For developing a proof of concept (POC), a prototype or testing initial functionality, we can often provide a reduced initial fee. Once the project passes the prototype stage, we can provide a full project development quote.

Deferred payment

We can defer part of a payment until your company makes its first sale, achieves a break-even point, or reaches another agreed financial landmark. This is particularly helpful to startups in allowing them to lower the barrier to entry in a particular market.

Fixed monthly budget

If you have a fixed monthly budget for software development expenses, we can adjust our services to suit your cash flow. By establishing a monthly or quarterly retainer, Virvo will allocate resources to meet your company needs, and ensure you receive a discount for advance payment. A retainer ensures that your company is at the top of our priority list, regardless of how many other projects we have.

Share deals

In some circumstances, we can become shareholders in the company or a take percentage of the revenue generated by the project, as a part-payment for development services.

Software leasing

A software lease works just like a hardware lease – Virvo will develop custom software for you under the terms of a standard work agreement. When development is completed, you make monthly payments for the term of the lease. You can then purchase the software for £1 at the end of the lease period. The lease term can be negotiated based on your financial requirements, with the value of the lease depending on your credit rating. Larger projects with several software components can often be financed through multiple leases.
